Permanent cosmetic techniques are medically approved and specifically designed to be a safe aesthetic procedure. However, there are a few conditions whereby procedures should not be performed. Please review the details below for more information.
NOT A CANDIDATE
Pregnant or nursing
Chemotherapy or Radiation full treatments
Active dermatologic disorders
Eyelash extensions must be removed prior to eyeliner procedure
Keloid Scars
Fitzpatric 6 skin type (for Microblading only)
Excessively oily skin or mature, thin skin (for Microblading only)
WAITING PERIOD REQUIRED
Lasik or Cataract Surgery - must wait 1 month prior and 3 months post-op
Latisse - 2 weeks
Botox or Disport - 2 weeks
Fillers i.e. Juvaderm, Silk, Voluma, Sculptra, etc. - 2 weeks
Fat transfer in lips - wait 2-3 months for swelling to subside
Accutane full dose - 1 year (half-dose requires medical clearance)
Suntan or sunburned skin - 1 month
Retinol's glycol acid, vitamin c, peels - 2 weeks
Shingles shot - 1 month
MEDICAL CLEARANCE/PRE-MEDICATION REQUIRED
Heart valves, stents, pacemakers, rheumatic fever - medical clearance and pre-medication
Organ transplants - medical clearance and pre-medication
Joint replacements - medical clearance and pre-medication
Insulin dependent diabetes - medical clearance and pre-medication
Fever blister history - medical clearance and pre-medication
Shingles history - medical clearance and pre-medication
Seizures - medical clearance
Blood thinners, steroids - medical clearance
Glaucoma, Graves' Disease - medical clearance
Lupus - medical clearance and pre-medication
